Chapter 3: Wrong Room(1 / 2)

The room was immaculate and well-organized – it hardly seemed like a place where a boy would reside, which made her feel even more ashamed as a girl.

So, she tried her best to restore the room to its original state and gathered all her belongings away.

After tidying up, she opened the door and stepped out, wanting to leave immediately and avoid further embarrassment.

However, just before leaving, a thought struck her: if her key to room 401 could open the door of room 501, would his key to room 501 be able to unlock the door of room 401?

It was a pressing concern that demanded an immediate answer.

Consequently, she scanned the area for the boy. He was washing something at the sink – clearly a diligent and tidy young man.

His sophisticated demeanor, soft voice, and courteous conduct gave her a slightly more favorable impression of him. At the very least, he seemed to be an upstanding gentleman with no ill intentions.

At that moment, the boy glanced over at her, still lingering at the door of his room. She promptly held up her key and waved it as a signal.

He understood and then walked over.

"I really didn''t mean to enter the wrong room. Look, this is my key to room 401." She demonstrated by unlocking his door, which swung open effortlessly.

"I was wondering, if my key to room 401 can open room 501, does that mean your key to room 501 can open my room 401? Could I borrow your key to test it?"

“我
